“Weightless” is a performative studio project situated in Pimlico, developed as a new spatial proposal for the Triangle Space at Chelsea College of Arts. The project reimagines the existing site through an installation-led approach, informed by the experimental frameworks of Yona Friedman and Olafur Eliasson.
Responding to the needs of a diverse community of artists, students, and visitors, Weightless proposes a dynamic spatial environment where function and experience are closely intertwined. The design critically engages with concepts of weightlessness, rhythm, and radial trajectories, constructing a fluid and immersive setting that encourages movement, interaction, and perceptual awareness. The space operates as a nexus—balancing structural clarity with atmospheric sensibility—where users actively participate in shaping their spatial experience.
